Report: Patriots Re-Sign WR Deion Branch To One-Year Contract
For the fourth time this week, the New England Patriots have struck a deal with a free-agent wide receiver. This time, it’s one of their own, as the Pats have worked out a deal to retain Deion Branch, as per Adam Schefter of ESPN:

This news comes on the heels of the Pats’ signings of three other wideouts in the last five days or so — Brandon Lloyd, Anthony Gonzalez and Donte Stallworth have all inked new deals to play in Foxborough this upcoming season as well. The Pats have reloaded the arsenal in a big way for quarterback Tom Brady.
Branch, 32, had 51 catches for 702 yards and five touchdowns last season. He was originally a New England draft pick, in the second round in 2002; he helped the team win two championships and was the MVP of Super Bowl XXXIX. The Pats traded Branch to the Seattle Seahawks in 2006 before reacquiring him in 2010.
