Jeremy Lin Set To Announce Major Deal With Volvo

New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin will be announcing a major endorsement deal with Swedish car brand Volvo, according to USA Today.

Volvo Cars of North America has reportedly sent out invitations for the press conference in New York to “announce a dynamic marketing partnership with Jeremy Lin, the popular New York Knicks point guard.”  According to the invite, the press conference is scheduled to begin at 5pm EST on Monday.

The endorsement will mark one of Lin’s first major corporate deals since the “Lin-Sanity” craze and his rise to stardom.  He had reached an agreement with Nike for a Lin-themed shoe, although the value of the deal has not been disclosed yet.

Since the resignation of coach Mike D’Antoni, Lin has led the Knicks to a three-game win streak with a stellar performance in his most recent game against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.  In the contest, Lin scored 19 points with six assists.
