Broncos’ Plane Headed To North Carolina, Presumably For Peyton Manning
We don’t have a final decision in the Peyton Manning sweepstakes just yet, but it sure sounds like we’re getting pretty close. NFL.com’s Bert Breer, among several other sources, says the Denver Broncos’ plane is leaving for Raleigh, N.C., within minutes, presumably to see Manning.
Now this might break Twitter ... Broncos plane scheduled to leave for Raleigh at 8:31 MT. Titans' plane still in Houston.—

Manning is believed to have narrowed his final choices down to the Broncos and Tennessee Titans — and since he’s maintained all along he wants to make a decision this week, today is likely the day. All we have at this juncture is speculation, but it makes sense to say the Broncos’ visit today is a big step toward something final.
There will be plenty more to come on Manning today, no doubt. We might be on the verge of putting the NFL’s biggest free-agent saga in years to bed.
