Report: Cornerback Carlos Rogers Will Re-Sign With 49ers
Carlos Rogers isn’t going anywhere after all — the cornerback is staying put with the San Francisco 49ers, according to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com:

The Rogers signing is a curious one — when the 49ers agreed to a contract with cornerback Perrish Cox earlier today, it was speculated that they were preparing to unload Rogers, who was also on the radar of the St. Louis Rams.
Instead, the Niners have managed to keep both. Rogers is back for a second season in the Bay Area — he spent the first six years of his career with the Washington Redskins before signing with San Fran last summer. He started all 16 games and recorded 52 tackles and six interceptions in year one with the 49ers.
The 49ers went 13-3 last season and reached the NFC title game, losing to the New York Giants; they were second in the NFL with only 229 points allowed and fourth with 4,931 total yards allowed.
