Moss announced last month that he wanted to come out of retirement. He was later offered a deal by the Chicago Slaughter of the Indoor Football League.
Moss, 35, played 13 years in the NFL, most recently with the Tennessee Titans. He holds the record for most touchdown receptions in a season with 23, as well as touchdown receptions by a rookie, when he caught 17 passes for scores in 1998 with the Minnesota Vikings.
