Wizards’ Andray Blatche Returns After Missing Month With Strained Calf
Andray Blatche is returning to the Washington Wizards after missing more than a month with a strained left calf, according to the Associated Press.
Blatche, who hasn’t played for the Wiz since Jan. 28, will be on the active roster tonight as they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at home. He won’t start, but coach Randy Wittman says he’ll be available to play in short stretches.
Blatche is averaging 10.3 points and 7.1 rebounds in 17 games this season. The Wizards are 7-28 this season, second-worst in the Eastern Conference.
