Lee Evans’ stint with the Baltimore Ravens didn’t exactly begin according to plan in 2011, and now it appears his time with the AFC North champs is coming to an end. The Ravens plan to release Evans, along with cornerback Domonique Foxworth, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times:

After seven productive seasons with the Buffalo Bills, Evans was disappointing during year one in Baltimore. He missed much of the season with injuries and had just four catches for 74 yards in the brief time he did play. He also dropped a potential game-winning touchdown in the Ravens’ loss to the New England Patriots in January’s AFC title game.

Evans turns 31 this month. He has 381 career receptions for 6,008 yards and 43 touchdowns.
