NBA

NBA legend Michael Jordan has listed his Highland Park mansion for sale for $29 million, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The compound measures over 56,000 square feet.  Some of the features include nine bedrooms, 15 full baths, three-bedroom guesthouse, indoor-outdoor entertaining and pool area, tennis court, putting green, full-size indoor basketball court, and a 15-car garage.

Listed as the highest priced home in Chicago, Jordan’s mansion has been home to the family ever since he was married with his former wife, Juanita.  According to public records, property taxes on the home were $165,224 in 2010.

In 2000, Jordan became the first player to have ownership in a team when he became part owner of the Washington Wizards.  In 2003, Jordan officially retired from basketball after a brief stint as a player for the Wizards.  Currently, the six-time NBA champion is the majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats.
