Rajon Rondo added to East roster to replace Joe Johnson
Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo will replace injured Atlanta Hawks guard Joe Johnson in the 2012 NBA All-Star game, the league announced Thursday.

Johnson, who is sidelined by an injured knee, was also slated to appear in the 3-Point shootout, but Oklahoma City Thunder guard Kevin Durant will take his spot.
Rondo is averaging 14.8 points and 9.5 assists this season. He will be making his third All-Star game appearance.
