Cornerback Stanford Routt has reached an agreement with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.

Routt, 28, had played his entire career for the Oakland Raiders. Last season in 16 games he recorded 42 tackles and a career-high four interceptions for Oakland.

Over the course of his career, he has tallied 206 total tackles and 10 interceptions.
