Rajon Rondo Suspended Two Games For Throwing Ball At Official

The NBA has suspended Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo for two games for an altercation with an official, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Rondo threw a ball at an official Sunday night in an 81-96 loss to the Detroit Pistons. Rondo was ejected after receiving two technical fouls in a span of five seconds in the third quarter of the loss.

Rondo is averaging 14.8 points and 9.5 assists per contest in 22 games for the Celtics this season.
