Free agent wide receiver Randy Moss has received an offer from the Indoor Football League’s Chicago Slaughter, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“Well, that didn’t take long: Free-agent WR Randy Moss has received an offer…from the IFL’s Chicago Slaughter.” tweeted Schefter.
The only word yet from an NFL team came from a source that said the Dallas Cowboys will pass on the wide receiver.
The 35-year old Randy Moss announced Monday that he was coming out of retirement and wanted to return to the NFL. Through Moss’ 12-year NFL career, he achieved many accolades, the most notable being the NFL single season touchdown reception record (23) and the NFL single-season touchdown reception record for a rookie (17).
