Pirates And Casey McGehee Strike A Deal
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Casey McGehee has avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year-deal, according to a tweet from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Pirates and infielder Casey McGehee have agreed to terms on a contract for the 2012 season, thus avoiding salary arbitration.

Pittsburgh Pirates (@Pirates) February 16, 2012Both sides agreed to a $2.5 million dollar deal, which was a little less than McGehee’s original asking price.
Last season McGehee hit .223 with 67 RBIs and 13 home runs. Throughout his career he has hit .265, with 242 RBIs, and 52 home runs.
