Detroit Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard has suffered a broken finger, according to the team’s official Twitter account. He will miss at least the next two games.

The Red Wings, 36-16-1, currently have the top record in the Western Conference. Howard, 27, has posted a 32-11-1 record this season with a 2.03 goals against average.
