Ricky Rubio Named Western Conference Rookie Of The Month
Minnesota Timberwolves guard, Ricky Rubio has been named Western Conference Rookie of the Month, according to the team’s official website.
This is the first honor of Rubio’s career and is the fourth Rookie of the Month honor in franchise history. Rubio currently ranks fifth among rookies in scoring with 11.4 points per game, first in assists with 8.9 per game, and first in steals with 2.24 per game.
In the 11 games that Rubio has started for the Wolves they have won seven and lost four. They are currently in fifth place in Northwest Division of the Western Conference, with a 10-11 record.
