Rajon Rondo Out Again With Wrist Injury

NBA

Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo is still not ready to be back on the court and will miss his seventh straight game with an injured right wrist, according to a tweet from the Boston Celtics.

Boston’s head coach Doc Rivers said that Rondo would not play against the Cavaliers tonight but could return to the line-up later this week. He will be traveling with the team to Cleveland and is hopeful to play in the Celtics game against Toronto on Wednesday.

Rondo has averaged 15 points, 9.4 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game in 13 games for the Celtics this season. His career averages are 10.8 points, 7.6 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per contest.

The Boston Celtics will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight in Cleveland.
