Washington, 59, has helped lead the Rangers to back-to-back World Series berths, however the Rangers failed to claim their first-ever title in either year.
In five years as the skipper for Texas, the Rangers have gone 427-383 with two playoff appearances and two American League Pennants. In the past two seasons, Washington has led the Rangers to a 186-138 record.
