Brady Hoke Wins Maxwell Football Club’s Coach Of The Year
Michigan’s head coach, Brady Hoke has been named the 2011 Collegiate Coach of the Year by the Maxwell Football Club, according to AnnArbor.com.
“Coach Hoke has engineered a tremendous turn around in the Michigan football program in just one year and it was obvious that his team improved each week,” Maxwell Football Club executive director Mark Wolpert said in the release.
Hoke led the Wolverines to an 11-2 season in his first year with the school, ending a seven year losing streak to Ohio state, and capturing their second BCS bowl game victory in the Sugar Bowl.
Prior to becoming Michigan’s head coach, Hoke coached San Diego State to a 13-12 record over two seasons.
