Report: Lakers considering G Gilbert Arenas

The Los Angeles Lakers are considering signing guard Gilbert Arenas, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard.

Steve Blake will miss at least another few weeks with a rib injury, and two rookies are backing up veteran Derek Fisher at guard.

Arenas, 30, was waived by the Orlando Magic in December. The once-explosive scorer averaged just eight points a game last year with the Magic.
