Bucks’ Stephen Jackson Suspended One Game For Verbally Abusing Official

NBA

Milwaukee Bucks forward Stephen Jackson has been suspended one game for verbal abuse of a game official and failure to leave the court in a timely manner, the NBA announced today.

The incident in question occurred after Jackson was slapped with a second technical foul late in the Bucks’ 107-100 loss to the Bulls last night at United Center. The suspension was handed down today by Stu Jackson, executive vice president of basketball operations for the NBA.

Jackson will serve his suspension tonight as the Bucks host the Los Angeles Lakers at the Bradley Center.

Jackson is averaging 12.8 points, 3.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game for the Bucks, who are currently tied for eighth in the Eastern Conference at 7-11.
