The 28-year-old earned $6.9 million on a one-year deal last season.
In 154 games between the Phillies and the Houston Astros, Pence hit .314/.370/.502 with 22 home runs and 97 RBI. The 28-year-old earned his second All-Star appearance last year.
Over the course of his career, Pence has posted a batting line of .292/.343/.485 while averaging 25 home runs and 91 RBI per season.
