Report: Raiders hire Dennis Allen as head coach
The Oakland Raiders have hired former Denver Broncos assistant Dennis Allen as their next head coach, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Now official: Oakland Raiders are hiring former Broncos defensive coordinator Dennis Allen as head coach. Deal done.—

Allen, 38, has served as defensive coordinator of the Broncos for only one season. He will be replacing Hue Jackson, who was fired by the Raiders earlier this month.
Aside from a season in Denver, Allen also spent time with the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons.
