Paterno Family Welcomes Everyone To Celebrate Life of Joe Paterno Tomorrow





Jay Paterno, son of legendary former Penn State head coach Joe Paterno, said today via Twitter that he and his family welcome everyoneto celebrate the life of his father at a memorial service tomorrow afternoon.

Paterno will reportedly be buried in a private funeral service later today. A public memorial service will then be held Thursday afternoon at the Bryce Jordan Center, the basketball arena next to Beaver Stadium.
Paterno died on Sunday at age 85, less than three months after being diagnosed with lung cancer. He finished his career with the 409 wins, the most in NCAA Division I history. He had served as Penn State’s head football coach for 46 years.
