Jorge Posada: I Will Forever Be A Yankee





Longtime New York Yankees catcher Jorge Posada officially announced his retirement today at a press conference at Yankee Stadium.

Posada, 40, hit just .235/.315/.398 with 14 home runs and 44 RBI in 115 games for the Yankees last season. Over the course of his 17-year-career, the four-time All-Star averaged .273/.374/.474 with 24 home runs and 94 RBI per 162 games.
In total, Posada won four World Series with New York, and finished his career with 1664 hits and 275 home runs.
