Harris hit .246 while posting a .351 on base percentage in 126 games for the New York Mets last season. His main value is believed to be his defensive versatility. Harris played each outfield position in 2011, as well as second and third base.
The Reds finished last season with 79 wins and 83 losses, winning 42 games at home and 37 away.
