Greg Jennings: ‘We Haven’t Forgotten’ About Packers’ Playoff Loss To Giants In 2008
The Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl back in February and backed it up with a dazzling 15-1 season — but that doesn’t mean they’re not still hungry and ready to send a message. Receiver Greg Jennings, for one, has found new motivation for the Packers’ playoff opener next weekend.
The team that kept us from our potential Super Bowl in 08 is back on OUR turf now.Trust me,we haven't forgotten.Here.We...GoPackGo! #BeGreat—

The Packers went 13-3 in 2007 and earned the top overall playoff seed in the NFC, but they lost the NFC title game to the New York Giants in overtime, 23-20. Brett Favre went 19-of-35 with two interceptions; Jennings had just one catch. The Giants went on to topple the vaunted Patriots and win the Super Bowl.
With the Giants’ 24-2 victory over the Falcons today, the stage is set for a rematch of the playoff showdown from four years ago. The Packers will host the Giants at Lambeau Field next Sunday, and Jennings will be out for blood.
