Report: Cardinals’ pitching coach Dave Duncan stepping down





The St. Louis Cardinals will announce Friday that pitching coach Dave Duncan will step down, according to Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Duncan has been with the Cardinals since 1996, and he also coached with the Cleveland Indians, Seattle Mariners, Chicago White Sox, and Oakland Athletics in his coaching career.
As a player, Duncan was a catcher with the Kansas City/Oakland Athletics, Cleveland Indians, and Baltimore Orioles. He was a .214 hitter with 109 home runs in his 11-year career.
