Serena Williams: I Don’t Love Tennis, I’ve Never Actually Liked Sports

Serena Williams, one of the most accomplished female tennis players of all time, said today that she does not love the sport, according to ESPN.
“I mean, I don’t love tennis today, but I’m here, and I can’t live without it … so I’m still here and I don’t want to go anywhere any time soon,” Williams said according to ESPN.
“It’s not that I’ve fallen out of love; I’ve actually never liked sports, and I never understood how I became an athlete,” she said, according to the website. “I don’t like working out; I don’t like anything that has to do with working physically.”
Williams has won 13 Grand Slams since turning professional in 1995. The 30-year-old star has been battling back from a series of injuries to her foot and lungs over the past two years.
