Report: St. Louis Rams Have Fired Steve Spagnuolo

The St. Louis Rams have officially fired head coach Steve Spagnuolo, according to ESPN’s SportsCenter.
The Rams, 2-14, finished the season tied with the Indianapolis Colts for the worst record in the NFL. Last season the Rams finished 7-9, just narrowly missing a playoff spot.
Since becoming the head coach of the Rams in 2009, Spagnuolo posted a 10-38 record overall. With the team’s most recent 34-27 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, he failed to win more than two games in two out of his three seasons as head coach of the Rams.
Former Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher has been linked as a possible candidate for the position.
