Report: Dallas Mavericks Sign G Delonte West

The Dallas Mavericks and guard Delonte West have agreed to a one-year deal, according to ESPN.com.

West has played with four teams over his seven-year career, most recently with the Boston Celtics, where he missed much of last year with a wrist injury.

It would appear that West will backup starting point guard Jason Kidd, though he can also play shooting guard.
