Report: Peyton Hillis Appeared To Re-Injure Hamstring At Practice
Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis reportedly re-injured his hamstring today at practice, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
According to reports, Hillis appeared to re-injure himself while making a routine run up-the-middle. The Madden cover-boy limped off the field after the play and threw his helmet down in frustration.
Hillis has missed the past two games and has been limited to just 16 carries since Week 2 due to a hamstring injury. He had returned to practice Thursday.
The former seventh round pick emerged from obscurity last year when in 16 games he rushed for 1177 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Browns. Last offseason he won a vote to appear on the cover of EA Sports’ Madden 12.
